I didn’t want to respond on the MESSAGE board so I decided to BLOG IT. Thank you so much for your coming to my defense to the negative comments made about me on the message board. (It was probably my brother or one of my sisters). In fact- thank you to EVERYONE who has come to our show’s defense this week.  

Before I got into Radio I was doing stand-up comedy (I still am. Not as much as I would like, but I am) and I used to hear negative comments about my set all the time. Obviously some comments hurt. I am human but I try to look at as many negative comments as I can as constructive criticism or a good chuckle. I can also look past most of the crap because I know there are plenty of people who have seen my comedy set that enjoyed it (I heard them laugh.)  

Bill said it best on Monday, “YOU HAVE TO HAVE THICK SKIN THIS BUSINESS”. You would have to be pretty naive to think you will NEVER be a source of some kind of criticism in this business.  

Hell I dish it out all the time myself. I just went on a HUGE rant bashing M. Night Shayamalan or whatever his name is. I understand sitting around with a crowd and going off on someone. It can be FUNNY!  

So, to the haters: Keep on hatin’ baby. We might get a good laugh or get better because of you! In fact, I hope you got a good laugh out of it yourselves.
